First Climate donates to those impacted by the flooding catastrophe
First Climate is donating EUR 10,000 to Aktion Deutschland Hilft to support the victims of the flood disasters in western and southern Germany. The company hopes that this donation shows solidarity with those affected and makes a contribution towards reconstruction efforts.
Climate’s CEO, Olaf Bachert, participating in the donation is part of the company’s responsibility. “The images from the flood zones have really affected us and we are saddened by the fate of those impacted by the floods. As a service provider working specifically towards climate and environmental protection, we consider it our duty to contribute towards the disaster relief,” says Olaf.
First Climate is donating EUR 10,000 to Aktion Deutschland Hilft e.V., which is an alliance of German aid organizations and will use the donation in short-, medium- and long-term aid projects in the affected areas. For Olaf Bachert, the extent of the disaster and the consequences for those affected are still difficult to comprehend. “We hope that, with our donation, we can make a contribution to sustainably alleviating the suffering caused by the extreme rainfall and resulting flooding, and to repairing the subsequent damage.”
