Natural Gas+: How it Works
The “plus” refers to the additional and voluntary climate action contribution. Based on the volume of natural gas supplied to your customers, First Climate calculates the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions generated through its combustion. First Climate then procures and retires carbon credits from selected climate protection projects in an equivalent amount. These projects either avoid or reduce greenhouse gas emissions or remove and store carbon. You decide which projects you’d like to support.
