Über die Veranstaltung
In a joint virtual seminar, First Climate and CDP will demonstrate how companies can implement successful climate strategies by adopting Science Based Targets (SBTs).
Growing numbers of companies are setting science-based targets as a tool to bring the management of their carbon emissions more in line with climate research. The introduction of science-based targets also plays a decisive role in the implementation of ambitious net zero strategies. In “Science-based targets as a cornerstone of corporate climate strategy,” an upcoming session of a joint online seminar, CDP and First Climate will explain how companies can quantify and qualify trusted SBTs (science-based targets) to safeguard corporate climate action.
The online seminar takes place on:
Thursday, 29th September 2022, from
14:30 - 15:30 Central European Time, (GMT+01:00).
The event will be held in English. Participation is free of charge.
First Climate, as SBTi accredited solutions provider, has advised many clients in developing SBTs and using them as pillars of their corporate climate strategy.
During the online seminar, First Climate experts Priscilla Schönfeld, Jonathan Schwieger, and Vincent Erasmy will highlight critical targets companies should consider on their path to net zero. Our experts , together with CDP, will dive into the topic of SBTi Target Setting and Net-Zero. They will also share some common challenges, discuss the lessons learned from past mandates as well as present measure and strategies on how to set net-zero targets. The First Climate team will be joined by Kenza Taoufik, EU regional lead, Transition Accelerator at CDP.
