Together we will explore key challenges in developing corporate science-based targets and delve into best practices with a pragmatic approach to carbon accounting and target setting. This online seminar will also include updates from CDP on the latest developments of science-based target (SBT) setting. Additionally, First Climate and Össur will share their first-hand insights, highlighting practical aspects of submitting science-based targets and creating an action plan for success.

Jonathan Schwieger Head of GHG Accounting and Reporting, First Climate 

Jonathan Schwieger is a corporate climate strategy consultant and Head of First Climate’s GHG Accounting and Climate Reporting practice. In this capacity, he supports private sector clients in realizing their climate ambitions and leads the team’s activities related to carbon footprint assessments as well voluntary and compliance climate-related reporting. Prior to joining First Climate in 2015, Jonathan worked for the Clean Energy Trust (CET) in Chicago, a regional cleantech impact investor and business accelerator.

Federico Cavallucci Consultant, Corporate Climate Strategies, First Climate

Federico is a corporate climate strategy consultant specializing in carbon accounting and climate target development. With a dedicated focus on the manufacturing and energy sectors, he guides clients through their decarbonization journey, leveraging his expertise to implement sustainable practices and achieve climate goals. Prior to joining First Climate in 2022, Federico served as an environmental specialist at Saipem, where he focused on the company’s decarbonization strategy.

Ewelina Grajko Regional Lead Transition Accelerator, CDP Europe

Ewelina joined CDP in summer 2023, she is helping high emitting companies located in Europe in adopting Science Based Targets and ambitious climate action in line with the Paris Agreement. She holds a Master's degree in International Business, brings years of experience from scale up tech companies and most recently built up a sustainability and social impact program at a 500 people company. 

Bergthora Skuladottir Global Sustainability Director, Össur 

Bergthora Skuladottir is Global Sustainability Director at global medical device company Össur and has led the company’s sustainability initiatives for the past 8 years. She holds a M.Sc. degree in Environmental Studies and Sustainability Science from Lund University, Sweden, and a M.Sc. degree in Biochemistry from the University of Iceland. Bergthora is passionate about driving change for the benefits of future generations, and promoting sustainable business practices that are both good for the environment and overall business success.

Moderator: María Lucía Osorno Junior Sales Manager, International Sales, First Climate

As a Junior Sales Manager within the International Sales team, María Lucía plays a key role in pinpointing and cultivating new markets, with a primary focus on Spanish-speaking regions worldwide. Prior to joining First Climate in 2023, she gained experience in business strategy development and worked as a research analyst in Melbourne, Australia. Gathering extensive expertise in overseeing sustainability projects in the public and private sectors, María Lucía holds an MBA in Business Administration and an MA in International Sustainable Tourism.
