Swiss Branch Under New Management

Linda Manieram appointed Managing Director of First Climate (Switzerland) AG

Change at the top of First Climate (Switzerland) AG: Linda Manieram takes over management of First Climate’s business in Switzerland as Managing Director with immediate effect, making her the first woman at top management level of First Climate.

In the past, Linda Manieram worked with First Climate for many years before returning to First Climate in 2022. She is currently leading the Human Resources, Organizational Development, and IT teams at the group’s parent company, First Climate AG. Her new role at the helm of First Climate (Switzerland) AG will be in addition to these duties.

“With her in-depth knowledge of First Climate, her professionalism, and her many years of experience in the corporate sector, Linda brings excellent qualifications to this role. We are confident that, together with the entire Swiss team, Linda will shape the successful future of the company,” states Jochen Knoesel, Chair of the Board of Directors of First Climate (Switzerland) AG.

In her new role, Linda Manieram will take over responsibilities from Urs Brodmann, who has led First Climate (Switzerland) AG for many years and will be stepping down from his position on March 31. Knoesel thanked Brodmann for his commitment and many years of successful work as the Managing Director of First Climate (Switzerland) AG, with which he has left a lasting impact on the company’s development. Linda Manieram also commended the work of her predecessor, who consistently found successful ways to adapt the company to the dynamic changes in the voluntary and compliance carbon markets and initiated innovative processes for change.

“I look forward to working with the highly competent team at First Climate (Switzerland) AG to continue developing sustainable solutions for global climate action in the service of our clients and partners,” says Manieram. In her new role, one of her particular focuses will be to further optimize cooperation within the First Climate group. She will also further strengthen First Climate (Switzerland) AG’s profile as an independent competence center, especially in the areas of project development and innovation.
