At B2Run Frankfurt, the First Climate Team was once again active together – perfectly in sync with the B2Run motto.
Around 2,700 motivated runners from 159 companies took part in the running challenge in Frankfurt on September 9 – including members of the First Climate team. Not even the rainy weather could dampen the mood. On the contrary: team spirit and good vibes for reaching the finish line were clearly visible all over event grounds.

"What a great atmosphere – from start to finish. The event was definitely another real highlight for our team, and we were delighted to be involved again this year as a climate action partner of B2Run. Our thanks go out to the entire B2Run organization team for a magnificent event," said Dr. Susanne Peindl, Managing Director of First Climate Markets GmbH, who rang the starting bell at the start of the event.
The 5.6 km running route led around Deutsche Bank Park through Frankfurt's urban forest, with the finish line inside the stadium. There, the runners were cheered on by jubilant fans and spectators during the last few meters. After the run, participants gathered at the team stands in the B2Run Village to celebrate their achievements and end the evening alongside their colleagues and team members with refreshing drinks and music crafted by a DJ.
This year marks the 11th time B2Run Frankfurt has been held. Three more company runs in Hamburg, Berlin, and Gelsenkirchen are on the agenda for this year's ongoing season of the Germany-wide running series. With most races already completed, for the First Climate team, which supports B2Run in its climate action efforts, the calculation of the carbon footprint of the entire 2025 running series now begins.
