CarbonoVivo: Growing a Livable Future, From the Ground Up
For centuries, farmers and ranchers in Colombia have worked and lived on rich and fertile land. But industrial-style livestock and land management are exacerbating climate change. Soil quality and ecosystems are suffering. The once-fertile paddocks and fields have lost nutrients, lush forages, and their ability to function as natural carbon sinks. The CarbonoVivo Project is reversing these harmful practices. By moving towards regeneration and empowering farmers to make a difference through sustainable land management, the project transforms the way they care for their land, their animals, their communities, and our planet.

Webinar: Energy Attribute Certificates as Tools for Climate Action
(Webinar vom 5. Juli 2022) English: CDP and First Climate will elaborate on best-practices in making use of Energy Attribute Certificates (EACs) as a fundamental component of effective corporate climate action. Webinar: Science-Based Targets as a Cornerstone of Corporate Climate Strategy
(vom 29. September 2022) EN: A growing number of companies are setting Science-Based Targets (SBTs) as a tool to bring the management of their carbon emissions more in line with climate research. The introduction of science-based targets also plays a decisive role in the implementation of ambitious net zero strategies. In “Science-based targets as a cornerstone of corporate climate strategy,” a joint online seminar, CDP and First Climate explained how companies can quantify and qualify trusted SBTs to safeguard corporate climate action as well as implement successful climate strategies by adopting these targets.

Webinar: Towards a Greener Supply Chain
November 2021 EN: In the context of contemporary corporate carbon management strategies, emissions from the supply chain are increasingly coming into focus. This is because Scope 3 emissions, i.e. emissions from a company's upstream and downstream value chain, are up to eleven times higher than Scope 1 and 2 emissions combined. In their joint online seminar on 25 November 2021, CDP and First Climate showed how companies can implement reduction strategies in this area and what decisive role the procurement of sustainably generated energy plays in this.
