In the context of contemporary corporate CO2 management strategies, emissions from the supply chain are increasingly coming into focus. This is because Scope 3 emissions, i.e. emissions from a company's upstream and downstream value chain, are up to eleven times higher than Scope 1 and 2 emissions combined.

In their joint online seminar on 25 November, CDP and First Climate showed how companies can implement reduction strategies in this area and what decisive role the procurement of sustainably generated energy plays in this.
