Looking back: Science-based targets as a
cornerstone of corporate climate strategy

Growing numbers of companies are setting Science-Based Targets (SBTs) as a tool to bring the management of their carbon emissions more in line with climate research. The introduction of science-based targets also plays a decisive role in the implementation of ambitious net zero strategies. In “Science-based targets as a cornerstone of corporate climate strategy,” a joint online seminar, CDP and First Climate explained how companies can quantify and qualify trusted SBTs to safeguard corporate climate action as well as implement successful climate strategies by adopting these targets.
