An attractive employer two years in the running
For the second year in a row, the Great Place to Work Institute has recognized First Climate as a “great place to work” in its annual listing. This certification process can also give new impetus to the company’s future development.
First Climate has made Great Place to Work’s certification list as an “attractive employer” again in 2022. To receive this distinction, First Climate had to undergo a feedback process, which includes an anonymous employee experience survey and subsequent quantitative and qualitative analysis of the company’s structure, processes, and outputs.
Undertaking such an evaluation provides an invaluable opportunity to analyze the feedback in detail to see where and how the inner workings could be improved. Additionally, the certification tells future employees that First Climate offers a positive work environment for the employees that enhances successful development.
Sebastian Diefenbach from the Great Place to Work Institute:
“Good employers have one thing in common, they are committed to credible, fair management and the active promotion of employees. Respect, trust and team spirit are to a large extent part of the corporate culture.”
Thumbs up to a “Great Place to Work”
“We are thrilled to be designated as a Great Place to Work 2022. Direct feedback from our team convincingly shows how First Climate is dedicated to strengthening employee engagement, which in turn, helps cement our corporate position in the current market. First Climate has a deep commitment to improving and promoting a continuous productive work environment and the Great Place to Work survey is a measurable tool that helps us monitor our corporate culture and creates a list of actionable insights for our continued success,” says Olaf Bachert, CEO First Climate AG.
Two locations, global offices, one mindset
As for many companies, the past two years have been challenging for First Climate with regards to corporate culture. With teams based in Bad Vilbel, Germany, and Zurich, Switzerland, plus in offices across Europe, Asia and South America, the entire team worked diligently to enable clients to take climate action and create positive climate impact. The unique challenges presented by the global pandemic and social distancing in the workplace did not put a damper on the enthusiasm and motivation of employees. In fact, the individual reflections speak to the high level of teamwork and commitment the various departments and management share.
First Climate is one of a limited number of companies in Germany to receive this distinction this year. The current Great Place to Work certificate is valid for one year.
