KlimaKombi+
Climate Protection with Local Environment
Supporting international climate protection projects allows companies to offset their unavoidable carbon emissions with an established and effective tool. Carbon offset projects are often located in least developed and developing countries. In these regions, a much larger impact on the climate can be achieved per euro of investment compared to here. More and more companies, however, want to go a step further in their carbon offsetting by taking on responsibility within their own region.
With our new KlimaKombi+ offer, we can help you do just this. KlimaKombi+ combines global climate protection commitment with regional environmental projects.
The offsetting of your carbon footprint is done through supporting the forest protection project, Rimba Raya Biodiversity Reserve REDD+ in Indonesia. For each purchased emission reduction certificate, an additional fixed donation is made to one of four nature conservation projects in Germany. You choose yourself, which project you wish to support.
International Climate Protection and Regional Commitment

International climate protection
Your carbon footprint is offset through certified emission reductions from the
Rimba Raya forestry protection project in Indonesia. This project was the first REDD project to earn Triple Gold Validation under the CCB Standard.
The project protects 64,000 hectares of natural rainforest from deforestation and contributes to the upkeep of the forest as an important carbon sink.

Climate projects in Germany
Our partner for nature conservation in Germany is the non-profit Bergwaldprojekt e.V, which whom First Climate has worked closely for many years. The organisation carries out forest and nature conservation in Germany and therefore makes an important contribution towards protecting our local forests, which are under increasing pressure from climate change.
There are four projects to choose from which can be combined with supporting the offset project in Indonesia:
