Our Water Projects: Caring About a Valuable Resource

Improving water use within a watershed involves three main approaches:

    • improving watershed functions through restoration activities,
    • improving productive water use through agricultural interventions and other methods,
    • and improving the quality and availability of water for human consumption.

Our water projects use these approaches by, for example, promoting the adoption of water-efficient irrigation technology or improving the quality of household tap water in underserved regions.

First Climate water projects are certified according to the strict quality criteria of the Gold Standard. They are carried out in cooperation with NGOs or companies.
