With the new label "climate partnerl" created by 3C climate change consulting GmbH in Frankfurt/Germany, companies and institutions can now contribute actively to climate protection. The label is awarded to products and services whose negative impacts on the climate are compensated for by emission reduction measures somewhere else. 3C services include the calculation of the generated CO2 emissions of the respective service/product, the selection of climate protection projects, the purchase and withdrawal of the emission reduction certificates as well as the planning of marketing activities related to the implementation of the label.
Events that were made climate neutral by 3C include the 7 th Hessian Climate Protection Forum in Wiesbaden, as well as the conference "Sustainability in the economic sector as a global challenge" in Berlin. 3C also handed over a climate partner certificate to Prof. Dr. Klaus Töpfer, former minister for the Environment and current executive director of the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) after his journey to Berlin had been rendered climate neutral by 3C.
