With a slowdown in national PPP projects, the focus has switched to a municipal level. This conference will take a look into ways and means of developing more sustainable and ultimately successful relationships between Public and Private bodies. The key players throughout the Central and Eastern European Region will come together to answer the key question: when will PPP really explode into life?
Through focused panel discussions participants can expect to get a deeper insight into the key issues on-going in the PPP sector throughout the CEE region. Discussions will also be held on upcoming planned projects as well as taking a look at those projects that have been a success and those that haven't. In-depth discussions focus on Financing, Infrastructure Projects, Energy, Municipal buildings and investment opportunities in emerging markets such as Ukraine and Lithuania.
Markus Hüwener, CEO at First Climate, will be presenting the following session on February 1:
"Foreign Investment in Environmental Projects"
• Project investments through carbon funds
• JI projects in CEE
• PoA and the role of governments
• Project investment through Equity Funds
