First Climate and Deutsche Bank present the Global Carbon Guarantee Consortium (GC)2

Please join Gary Hattem, President of the Deutsche Bank Americas Foundation,
Nikolaus Schultze, Director of First Climate, as well as a panel of international
social and environmental investors, to discuss a solution to the scarcity of
financing for small and medium‐sized carbon reduction projects in developing
countries. The Global Carbon Guarantee Consortium (GC)2, a new investment
vehicle, proposes to monetize future carbon credits so that independent project sponsors in Africa
and Latin America can sucessfully raise funds to implement clean businesses in renewable energy,
forestry and other carbon reduction technologies
