First Climate at Asia Power & Energy Congress

Lukas Heer, Head of First Climate's Carbon Asset Development in Southeast Asia, participated in the panel discussion "Understanding the role of carbon funds in developing the next-generation power landscape in Asia".

The session took place 9:30 on Thursday April 2nd and addressed the following issues:

• Identifying the project eligibility criteria to access financing from carbon funds
• Understanding the contractual issues in cost and risk sharing, under-delivery penalties and upfront payments in carbon finance
• Leveraging on carbon financings forward markets by investing in them
