Your will be responsible for sourcing of CERs and VERs from carbon offsetting projects and the management of the existing Indian project pipeline. Your will be closely inter-linked with the business development and execution teams within India, as well as with the international Carbon Asset Development teams. You will be further expected to actively develop new business activities which are related but not limited to the above described activities.

The CER and VER sourcing activities will be focussed on, but not limited to, India and neighbouring countries.

Key Responsibilities

End to end management of CER and VER transactions:

- Identification of CER/VER purchase opportunities
- Deal structuring and negotiation
- Project due diligence and performance tracking
- Supervision and coordination of registration and issuance process
- Client relation management 

Development of new business areas

- Awareness building and opportunity identification in voluntary or pre compliance markets
- Identification of project finance opportunities in clean tech sector
- Identification and development of business opportunities in domestic carbon related policy schemes

Specific Requirements

You should have minimum 2 years relevant experience in the CDM consulting sector in India. You should have excellent analytical skills and relevant technical background. Excellent communication skills are a must.
