First Climate at Clean Energy Expo Asia

Lukas Heer, Regional Manager SEA, gave a presentation about ”The role of carbon funds in a post-Kyoto carbon market”.

The presentation took place from 9:45-10:30 on Friday 20 November and addressed the following issues:

- Carbon credit demand and supply scenarios for the post-2012 period:  Will carbon prices go up or down?
-  Why sell now? Hedging the risk of carbon price volatility
-  How project developers can profit already today from guaranteed post-2012 carbon credit offtake, i.e. not conditional upon entry into force of a post-Kyoto regime.
