First Climate at UNEP Roundtable on Financial Risk Management for Renewable Energy Projects

Nikolaus Schultze, First Climate's Project Finance Director, participated in the panel discussion on "Renewable energy investments: Global trends and assessing financial risks" from 10:00 to 11:45 a.m. on 13 October.

The panel focused on the following questions:
- How are renewable energy markets growing?
- Who is investing?
- What forms are those investments taking?
- Which regions and countries have been the most successful in attracting and retaining investments and why?

Representatives from institutional, financial, and insurance sectors responded to these questions and
contributed their views on the significance of financial risk management instruments to investors and other project sponsors.
