Executive Assistant to CEO

Bad Vilbel - Frankfurt/Main (Germany)

In this position, you have the unique opportunity to work closely with a young, international team in the fast growing carbon market with interfaces to the financial markets and corporate sustainability strategies. You will work directly with the CEO of First Climate supporting him on both administrative tasks as well as complex projects. In addition, you will support the executive board with various corporate regulatory and commercial legal tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compile quarterly reports for shareholders and stakeholders
  • Prepare presentations and speeches for the CEO
  • Research, analyze, develop and administer management projects; summarize and present findings for decision making
  • Understand growth targets of the company and hence various programs to meet these goals
  • Organize meetings and appointments for the CEO and Executive Board
  • Take minutes of internal high-level meetings
  • Maintain contacts with clients, partners and other stakeholders
  • Manage all corporate files and documentation
  • Research legal requirements for new business structures

Specific Requirements

You are educated in Business Administration, Finance and/or Corporate Law in Germany. You have already worked a corporate business environment in a similar role i.e. bringing exceptional experience in supporting senior management.  Proficient in both German and English, you are an excellent communicator skilled in the art of diplomacy and who manages to get quick results. You have a good command of MS Word, Powerpoint and InDesign with “above average skills” in MS Excel. It is vital that you are highly-motivated, well organized and a self-starter with the ability to manage your own workload with a minimum of supervision. You work easily under pressure and to tight deadlines while managing changing priorities. This position will require considerable discretion, reliability, loyalty and adaptability in working with individuals at all levels in hierarchy.
