As originator, you will mainly be responsible for the identification and the assessment of project opportunities. Your role will be to coordinate existing partnerships and to support the identification of new cooperation possibilities.
As developer, your role will be to manage the development of CDM projects within the CDM development team, and you will be responsible for preparing required documents for DNA approval, DOE validation and registration with the EB.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and assess potential CDM project opportunities
• Prepare Project Idea Notes and Project Design Documents in both Chinese and English
• Manage the CDM project cycle of our clients
• Assist in the preparation of new methodologies
• Assist during validation activities
• Supervise the implementation of monitoring plans
• Client relationships and business development

Specific Requirements

You have graduated in Engineering or Science and can demonstrate relevant working experience. Knowledge of climate change policy and the Carbon Market, greenhouse gas emission reduction technologies as well as strong knowledge of methodologies and the CDM process are expected. Your ability to work as part of a multicultural and diverse team is accompanied by strong project management skills gained in the energy, waste or industrial sector. You are a team player with good analytical, problem solving and communication skills. Proficiency in both English and Chinese completes your profile.
