The Post 2012 Carbon Credit Fund

The Post 2012 Carbon Credit Fund was established by five leading European public financing institutions – the European Investment Bank, Caisse des Dépôts, Instituto de Crédito Oficial, KfW Bankengruppe and the Nordic Investment Bank with the express intention of providing certainty to the post-2012 carbon credit market. Launched in March 2008, the Fund has assets of €125 million available for investment in projects generating carbon credits after 2012.

First Climate was selected as investment advisor to the Fund, working together with Conning Asset Management (Europe) Limited, the investment manager.

The Fund purchases post-2012 credits from all major CDM markets and from a variety of sectors. For more information on the fund please contact:
